In December 2025, the Industry and Information Technology Bureaus of Changzhou, Suzhou and Wuxi jointly announced the list of enterprises recognized for the 2025 Su-Xi-Chang First Set of Major Equipment. Wuxi Sima-Meida Electro-Technical Co., Ltd., based in the China- Europe Industrial Innovation Zone (Meicun Sub-district), successfully made the list with its independently developed MDLF4/4-4/45 high-speed flat wire enameling machine dedicated to new energy vehicle motors, marking that the company's core technological strength in the R&D of  high-end wire and cable equipment  has  been jointly  recognized  by the  official authorities.
